James Campbell's concerts have taken him to over 25 countries, appearing as soloist with over 50 orchestras including the Montreal Symphony, the Russian Philharmonic, the London Symphony, and the Boston Pops. He has performed with Glenn Gould, Aaron Copland, over 30 different string quartets, and jazz with pianist Gene DiNovi.

He has over 40 recordings encompassing most of the standard clarinet repertoire. His recording of the Brahms Clarinet Quintet was chosen by BBC Radio and the London Times as the best available.

    Goldstein, Professor of Music at Wake Forest University, will perform John Cage’s masterpiece for “prepared piano,” titled Sonatas and Interludes (1946-48) and his silent piece, 4’ 33” (1952), on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7:30 PM, in the UNF Fine Arts Center's Chorus Room. The follow evening, on Friday, Feb. 27, also at 7:30 and in the same location, Goldstein will then perform the composer Morton Feldman’s composition for solo piano titled For Bunita Marcus (1985). Both concerts are free and open to the public.

    Art Walk with the Symphony will feature Jeffrey Peterson, JSO principal trombonist, accompanied by Ileana Fernandez, JSO principal keyboardist, previewing Søren Hyldgaard's Concerto Borealis which Peterson performs with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra on Friday, January 9. In addition, JSO violinist Piotr Szewczyk, winner of the Fresh Ink 2008 Florida Composers’ Competition, will present virtuoso pieces for violin, accompanied by award-winning pianist Christine Clark
