    Goldstein, Professor of Music at Wake Forest University, will perform John Cage’s masterpiece for “prepared piano,” titled Sonatas and Interludes (1946-48) and his silent piece, 4’ 33” (1952), on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7:30 PM, in the UNF Fine Arts Center's Chorus Room. The follow evening, on Friday, Feb. 27, also at 7:30 and in the same location, Goldstein will then perform the composer Morton Feldman’s composition for solo piano titled For Bunita Marcus (1985). Both concerts are free and open to the public.

    The UNF Faculty Woodwind Quintet is a faculty ensemble in residence at the University of North Florida.

    Comprised of the woodwind faculty of the UNF Department of Music, the quintet performs a vast array of masterpieces written for this extremely versatile ensemble, and their repertoire consist a wide spectrum from early music written for quintet to music that was written in the last few years.
