    Known for her warm, rich voice, Metropolitan Opera District Winner Anne Elise Richie has toured Italy, France and Germany in addition to her many performances in the United States, distinguishing herself as an opera singer and concert artist, as well as being a devoted teacher. Ms. Richie is joined by Jacksonville University's Bonita Sonsini Wyke, who has enriched the musical life of the First Coast since 1985 and earned the reputation as a collaborative musician of unsurpassed technical skill and artistry. A special performance by pianist Mary Richie completes the evening's line-up.

  • Rhonda Cassano has been a member of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra since 1979 and is currently the flute instructor at the University of North Florida.

  • Kayo Ishimaru is enjoying her 22nd season as principal harpist with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra. A renowned orchestral musician, Ms. Ishimaru serves as principal harpist with the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra, a position she has held since 1991.

    Works by Bach, Krouse, Hilse, and more will be performed.

    The concert is presented by the UNF Department of Music and the

    Milena has soloed with the Jacksonville Symphony, the Sphinx Chamber Orchestra and the Chamber Music Society of Good Shepherd, and has performed in recital and chamber music throughout the USA and Europe. She studied with Melissa Pierson Barrett, JSO Associate Concertmaster, Sergiu Schwartz and Michael Klotz and has been concertmaster of the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra, and a member of the Episcopal High School Eagle Quartet and on trombone its Jazz, Concert and pep bands. She is a past winner of the JSYO Concerto Competition, the UNF String Competition, and a Friday Musicale Scholarship Committee Performance Award. Currently, Milena studies with Roberto Diaz and Michael Tree at the Curtis Institute of Music and performs with Itzhak Perlman's chamber ensemble.
