JCA Young Concert Artists Series: Violinist SooBeen Lee

SooBeen Lee has been called “Korea’s hottest violin prodigy.” She began studying at age four. At 8-years-old, she won the National Competition of the Korean Chamber Orchestra and made her Seoul recital debut a year later on the Kumho Prodigy Concert Series. A First Prize winner at the 2014 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, she has appeared as soloist with every major Korean orchestra, including the Seoul Philharmonic. Lee studies with Miriam Fried at the New England Conservatory.
