Choral Evensong for Lent
One of our most beautiful liturgies, Evensong is a lovely, sung, evening service led by the choir in which we thank God for the day that has passed and ask for peace and protection during the night ahead. This fourth Sunday in Lent, called Laetare Sunday (meaning “rejoice”), is traditionally a “lighter” Sunday compared to the rest of the season, so please join us as we liven things up with a festive Choral Evensong and stay for dinner in Leatherbury Hall immediately afterwards ($5 suggested donation; proceeds benefiting St. Mary’s Mission). Music of Harwood, Reading, Luther, Wood, and Ley. A nursery is available during the service.
