JULY

Tuesday, July 2 @ 7pm
Tuesday Serenade, with TGIF

Jacksonville Public Library is hosting a free program of music featuring Navy Band Southeast’s New Orleans-style Dixieland group, TGIF.
Boasting a long tradition of feel-good music throughout the Southeast, TGIF arose from performances at various Navy commands on Friday afternoons, in the “Thank Goodness It’s Friday” spirit. Now, every day is Friday! This high-energy, seven-piece ensemble promises a toe-tappin’, hand-clappin’ smile-fest that is sure to brighten your evening.
Tuesday Serenade concerts are presented in the Hicks Auditorium on the Conference Level of the Main Library. Concertgoers are encouraged to use the Main Street entrance, because the Laura Street entrance closes at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays.
