Join Wayne Bailey and a host of choral and keyboard musicians for an exciting evening of music to benefit the Garden Reconstruction Fund of The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens. The concert will feature choral music from The River City Women's Chorus, The River City Men's Chorus, The Don Thompson Chorale, The Riverside Park United Methodist Church Chancel Choir and The Riverside Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir, and organ solos by Andrew Clarke, Daniel Francabandiero, Lois Gurney and Richard Lewis. Help restore one of Jacksonville's true gems by donating as you exit the concert. 100% of all donations received will go to the Garden Reconstruction Fund.

Due to the uncertainty of Hurricane Irma, all the free concerts previously announced between September 8 - 11 have been canceled or rescheduled later in the month.

To Houston With Love

An encore presentation of this summer’s concerts by the River City Men’s/Women’s Choruses for the benefit of those affected by Hurricane Harvey. 100% of all donations will be given to the American Red Cross and will go to the relief efforts for the victims of this great tragedy.

Music @ Main Intermezzo Concert with Dr. Gary Smart, piano

Presented monthly (Sept.-June) in the Main Library's Hicks Auditorium, Intermezzo concerts are free and open to the public, and reservations are not required. Free Sunday parking is available in the public garage at Duval and Main; bring your ticket into the Library for validation. Free on-street parking is also available on weekends.

Choral Evensong for the Feast of St. Michael and All Angels

One of our most beautiful liturgies, Evensong is a lovely, sung, evening service led by the choir in which we thank God for the day that has passed and ask for peace and protection during the night ahead. Join us as we celebrate Michael and all the angels in their great heavenly war against Satan and the forces of evil during this brief service and immediately afterwards stay for a potluck in Leatherbury Hall. Music of Stanford, Drinkell, Buxtehude, Baynon, and Goss. A nursery is available during the service.

Sister Cities Peace Concert

Join us in commemorating the events of 9/11 as we reaffirm our hope for world peace and celebrate universal humanity. The Jacksonville Sister Cities Association (JSCA) and OneJax at the University of North Florida have joined together in presenting this year’s annual Peace Concert, supported globally by Sister Cities International and the September Concert Foundation and coinciding with more than 2,000 musical concerts held worldwide each year on September 11 (Jacksonville's Peace Concert has been rescheduled this year to Sunday, September 24 due to Hurricane Irma.). This event is OneJax’s “Oneness of Humanity” celebration. JSCA will host a reception after the concert with international light refreshments in Taliaferro Hall. Featuring: Atlantic Coast High School Chorus, First Coast High School Chorus, Jacksonville University Singers, Ritz Voices, Paula Merritt, Tim Tuller and Tim Snyder
