May the Fourth Community Concert
Join us for a free concert and open house for the season finale of the Mayo Clinic Community Concert Series! Pre-concert activities including backstage tours, instrument zoo, and “Conduct Us” with Symphony musicians will begin at 5:30 PM and the concert will begin at 7:00 PM.
Concert admission is free to all but a ticket is required for entry.

Much Ado About Women
The North Florida Women's Chorale's annual free spring concert, with rich, moving songs of hope and encouragement for women's roles in society. Selections include, "March of the Women", a nod to the suffragette movement; a Shaker worker song, "I Will Be a Child of Peace"; and songs supporting family and each other with "Music in My Mother's House" and "Rise Up", respectively. The chorus is celebrating its 13th year with director Kerry Fradley, accompanied by Kathleen Vande Berg as collaborative pianist.

Choral Evensong
One of our most beautiful liturgies, Evensong is a lovely, sung, evening service led by the choir in which we thank God for the day that has passed and ask for peace and protection during the night ahead. Please join us as celebrate the continuing Easter season with a festive Choral Evensong and stay for dinner in Leatherbury Hall immediately afterwards ($5 suggested donation; proceeds benefiting St. Mark’s own BSA Troop 26). Rhapsody in Blue - Season Finale
The Civic Orchestra of Jacksonville welcomes listeners of all ages for a free 60 minute concert featuring acclaimed pianist, Scott Watkins, in George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Additional works include Bloch’s haunting score, Nigun, and a tribute to Irving Berlin. Following the concert, audience members are invited to a reception to celebrate with the musicians and enjoy the creative works of our Artist-in-Residence and contemporary quilter, Ann Ouellette.

Music @ Main Sunday Intermezzo with Cliff Newton
Cliff Newton, trumpet, retired from the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra after being the Principal Trumpet for 32 years. As Principal trumpet, Mr. Newton has had the opportunity to perform many solos with his symphony colleagues in a variety of classical and jazz styles. In addition to "Classical Music," his favorite musical styles include early jazz, Argentine tango and American Civil War era brass band music. He is the Co-founder of the Ancient City Brass Band.

Director, Becky Schumann, directing fifty singers performing a variety of songs including Broadway tunes, patriotic songs and traditional spirituals. Among the songs at this year's Spring Concert are 'The US Armed Forces Medley', 'Lollipop', 'In My Room' and 'Moon River'. The piano accompanists are John Whitaker and Jacquita Craven, and also with accompaniments of string bass, percussion and fiddle. The concert is free, with donations accepted. There is a reception with light refreshments immediately following the program.
