Sandra Lopez is one of the most sought-after sopranos in the opera world. She has collaborated with many conductors including James Levine, Fabio Luisi, Daniele Callegari, Valery Gergiev, Eduardo Muller, Julius Rudel, Dennis Russell Davies, Donals Runnicles, Yves Abel, Anton Guadagno, among others. Ms. Lopez has toured with Andrea Bocelli to critical acclaim and has performed a wide variety of repertoire with various festival and symphonies.

JCA Young Concert Artist Series: Nathan Lee

Nathan Lee began playing the piano at the age of six and made his orchestral debut at the age of nine. At 15, he won First Prize at the 2016 Young Concert Artists International Auditions and holds the Mortimer Levitt Piano Chair of Young Concert Artists. Lee made his New York debut at sixteen in the Peter Marino Concert, opening the Young Concert Artists Series at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall. The Korean Concert Society Prize sponsored Lee’s sold-out, critically-acclaimed Kennedy Center debut in Washington, D.C.

Ritz Chamber Players: Celebrating Black History

Enjoy this musical journey highlighting the great Margaret Bonds, one of the first black composers and performers to gain recognition in the United States. Ms. Bonds is best remembered for her frequent collaborations with Langston Hughes as you will hear in their incredible collaborative work, “Three Dream Portraits”! The Ritz Chamber Players will conclude the program with the BRAHMS Piano Trio in B major, Op. 8, his first major work to be heard in America.
