Active as a solo and chamber music recitalist, oboist Susan Hicks Brashier has performed throughout the United States and in Europe, and also as principal oboist with the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra, Kansas City Camerata and Albany (GA) Symphony Orchestra. An avid chamber musician, Dr. Shannon Lowe is Associate Professor of Bassoon at Valdosta State University and principal bassoonist of both the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra and Albany (GA) Symphony Orchestra. Another faculty artist from Valdosta State, award-winning pianist Maila Gutierrez Springfield is a member of the Maharlika Trio.
